Following a 12hr flight delay it was nice to find excellent staff, a good room and excellent location. Could be one or two more bathroom products but overall found it to be fantastic value.

Have already passed on info to 3 people (including my son who works for a small hotel here in Perth who also passed on info to a friend of his)nd will definitly try and book accommodation again when in Melb once or twice this year.

The hotel was in an ideal location not far from all the amenities and local eateries.
The concierge was very helpful and full of local knowledge.
Didn't eat in the hotel but there are plenty of restuaurants near by with a good selection to cater for all tastes.
It was clean and comfortable and the rooms were a fair size.

All of the staff were helpful and courteous from the front desk to the room staff.
The hotel is in an excellent position in the centre of the city with a lot of shops and facilities within walking distance.
We apparently received an upgrade to the room we had booked by courtesy of the hotel.
Should we be returning to Melbourne we would stay at the hotel again.

My mum and I spent 5 nights here, I was on a conference and we added on a couple of extra days for shopping/sightseeing.

On arrival we were really impressed with the very friendly and helpful staff - the lady we dealt with spent a lot of time with us showing us things on maps and even went out of her way to make phonecalls for us and sent extra information up to our room.

The room was very basic, quite small and in need of some redecoration, particularly the bathroom. It was fairly clean - as clean as you can manage with old decor. I wouldn't recommend this hotel if you were planning on spending alot of time in your room.

The dining facilities were great, the breakfast and before 6pm bar snacks were excellent value.

Overall a good hotel and the location was perfect, central to the CBD and easy access to trams and buses, I would stay here again.

The check in staff were so helpful and friendly we arrived pretty early in the morning and we did arrange for our room early however only 1 of the 2 rooms we booked were available and we were allowed to put all our belongings in the room till the 2nd was ready they were very apologetic and very friendly i would definatly stay again.

Very convenient location for first time visitors to Melbourne. Close to free trams etc. Room was small but adequate. We had 1 breakfast in the hotel and one evening meal, both very good. Another time would stay somewhere perhaps not so convenient with location but with more room and maybe a view or balcony.

The staff is kind and warm-hearted. A place for your travel with family in Melcourne.

need to bring hurry up with legislation to ban smoking in the bars and casino rooms although the room is dated and there was a damp smell from the air conditioner it was still comfortable

Excellent location right in the centre close to all transport links. The room was a corner room therefore had less floor space and a small window with no view.

This is trivial but the paint on the walls looked old, which detracted from perception of cleanliness.

The Hotel is very central for shopping, entertainment and sightseeing. I found the staff ready to help and answer questions. Great service We found the service to be excellentand the staff friendly

Front of house staff were very pleasant and helpful. Room was everything we expected for the very reasonable rate.
