The room served our purposes adequately.

poor because of know sleep the bed sheets and pillow cases where that stiff or starched to much every time you turnd over they woke you up and we got know sleep

The location was perfect for us as we were returning home on the Indian Pacific from the station across the road. The service was OK but it wouldn't hurt for the staff to smile a little! The value for money was very good, considering the exorbitant prices some of the competition in Sydney charge. It was probably because we arrived early in the day but the surrounding rooms were undergoing refurbishment and so there was a lot of noise coming into the room and a lot of materials in the corridor.

My reservation was filed under Mr Hunt Patrick NOT Mr Patrick Hunt (which is my name). This caused unneccessary concern at check-in.l.

The linen was fine except that that when moving in the bed, the sheets tended to rustle which woke you up all the time. We always bring our own pillows to ensure comfort.

One Problem: room service breakast was slightly cold after waiting over half an hour. Presentation was great however and service good. I didn't like how they came into my room whilst i was not there to collect the tray. I have had problems in the past where Hotel employees take items which they shouldn't or before time.

Particularly poor is the trick where there is no mini-bar; the sign tells you you have a passcard to the machine; you don't, so you have to descend again to get one! (The desk told me this was not an oversight but a policy) OK to crash overnight but seriously overpriced given the bad amenities

Water pressure in shower was weak.

Generally OK; however, the first evening I was there it took three phone calls and over an hour to have a room service menu brought to the room. A bit to the minimalist side in terms of amenities and supplies.

One of the reasons I booked this hotel was for the indoor pool but the pool temperature was far too cold for swimming.

Hair dryer wouldn't work and the soap dispenser in the shower fell out of the wall.

$6 for a bottle of water is rediculous - drinks too expensive but the accommodation was excellent otherwise. Room was adequate for sleeping

Counter service slow and we had problems processing EFTOS transation. Took ages to check in with a very small queue.

The reception staff were not as helpful as you would expect from a four star hotel.

The airconditioning was extremely efficient in ensuring that the cigarette smell was distributed widely.
