Good Hotel to stay

Good location of the hotel and courteous staff made my visit to Melbourne pleasent and comfortable.

Bathroom sizes are small how ever the room size is reasonably good.

Food : Very few options were available for pure vegetarians.

Receiption office services were good.

cafe too limited in menu & availability,so too room service-----need more otions esp for breakfast in room sanity bags frequently omitted--had to call reception[staff helpful]

the bed is clean enough but the carpet is gross. had to wear slippers. too dirty to put foot on the floor. bathroom door has holes and do not close properly.

no breakfast on this booking....didnt know what breakfast-pers-nt means??? Reception at bit confused that we came from NZ and booked on the net from Singapore.Will look at using the same system for booking in Europe later this year.Otherwise everybody helpful and polite.Overnight car parking also o.k.

the hotel has the most friendly and helpful staff, nothing was too much trouble.the food and coffee was A1. a good size room, lovely and clean loved the idea of soap and shampoo etc in large cotainers on wall, good supplies of tea and coffee,which i always enjoy, and minimal noise from rest of hotel.

It was dissappointing to pay the hotel the requested fee of 20 dollars per day for use of a public car park and to find out later that general public had a special weekend rate of only 9 dollars
