We arrived at the hotel later than we intended, and the staff were ready and very helpful in getting us to our room quickly. The room was clean and very spacious, in fact we received a complimentary upgrade, which was a nice surprise.

the hotel was very clean and tidy and set in lovely grounds the staff were very helpful,close to local shops .

Due to the palcement of the glass on the shower/bath to turn the shower on you must reach under the shower rose. Therefore you get soaked trying to turn the shower on and as i was there in the winter i was doused in freezing cold water until it heated up. My 13 year old son turned on the shower by standing against the wall that the taps were on and therefore avoided getting cold water on him. This situation I believe has the potential for someone to be scalded and the Hotel should look into this situation.
