Great Hotel Staff

I have travelled almost everywhere and this hotel has BEST group of people working. If it wasn't for your staff, I would be very disappointed with my stay in this hotel. This hotel really need to be renovated. You really need to get new towels and bed sheets. The staff at the front desk and the people working in the restaurant is indeed a class above the other hotels - especially Novotel Mangga Dua. I was very pleased when the chef came out personally to apologise for the fish dish not done properly. And offer to replace it. And he was actaully very sincere in him tone of voice.

Mercure, Ancol

The hotel is quite remote if wanting to get into the city centre. One annoying aspect is that you have to pay to get to the hotel as it is in a liesure park. The hotel gives some vouchers but if going in and out a couple of times a day be up for Rp40,000 per entry.
The hotel is good for relaxation with nice outdoors area and pool. It is close to the Sea World and similar attractions.
Overall we were satisfied and if on a relaxing weekend again we would consider use of the Mercure agian.
