Reception Staff excellent.

A lot of noise from the street below kept us awake at night

Impressive overall of the hotel.Service was first class.Valet Parking was most satisfactory. Excellent View of the Local sights eg. Sky Tower.

I found that the restaurant breakfast was not what I would consider to be of quality.

In all honesty - I slept for most of my time at the hotel so have had to rate most of the above a 3 ( average ). However the service was very good at reception. The room we stayed in was fair / Good. Very Basic , but for the Money probably about right considering we were staying in a main city. The best part of the hotel is the reception staff - very friendly and helpful. I will probably be back to stay with the Mercure before I leafve NZ from Auckland.

the thing that separates this hotel from others of similar value is the service thats provided. staff are very friendly and helpful. as for the actual value for money in regards to the room, i would say its just fair. the rooms were nice, but very narrow. it was hard to pass someone in the room walkway.

The tax was unexpected

Room service served us fruit that had not been washed. The staff was uninformative and unknowledgeable regarding city information and transportation. Overall the staff was unfriendly and a few people were confrontational. I will not stay in this hotel again. The room was unclean and I had to request that it be cleaned twice before it was done.

there was no "quality" to the hotel. rooms service whilst efficient would send a pot of coffee with no cup! next time it was no milk - poor standards. Nice restuarant but limited menu. had electric shock from kettle -reported this but no feed back from hotel. Sink cracked. no chain on plugs. net curtains dirty - seems a very "tired" hotel

I found the breakfast room a pleasant way to start the day, overlooking Auckland harbour. Great outlook from my room.
