A train station is located directly across the street, but at first glance it appears to be just a shopping center. The service was outstanding. The batteries for our camera and my MP3 player were charged without cost. The hotel upgraded our room without an extra charge. We were treated with kindness and respect by the entire staff.

We were greeted warmly by the staff who were very helpful and welcoming. Breakfast was great. We will definitely visit again!

The only person who showed any concern was the Concierge as we were going to leave our luggage there and look for another hotel, He contacted the duty manager who we had previously spoken to and also left two phone messages that were not returned, who we had dealt with on 2 occasions at the front desk and found us a suitable standard of room in the hotel and offered his apologies and arranged drinks in the bar for us while staff attended to what then becane the final room in which we did decide to stay in, Excellent location which is what we based our choice on but we would not stay in or recommned this hotel to anyone.

The hotel had an elegant and old world elegance which was very welcoming. The location is excellent. Circular Quay, the Rocks and the Art Gallery were all close by, or a short taxi ride away. Breakfast, which was included in the price, was great, fresh, well cooked, abundant and beautifully presented. The room was comfortable and spacious and the two double beds were a bonus. The bathroom was a little ordinary but adequate. All of the staff were friendly and courteous. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a convenient and comfortable location in elegant surrounds. We are planning our next visit!

The staff was wonderful.
