The reception service was not friendly and we did not feel welcomed at all. We had to wait till around 3pm then, our rooms are ready to check-in. While we had our breakfast, we saw a rat climbing up the wall. The rooms that we got were not upgraded. Thus, the carpet in my room has stained and the furniture needs to be changed.

Breakfast was a bit disappointing on Jan 31 cos' mouldy wheat bread was served but the chef saved the day by changing it straightaway. Should have done inspection on food before serving to hotel guests. Room was cosy and comfortable. Perhaps can add more interesting TV channels such as HBO ?

Poor service culture. Made three reports to repair PC speakers in room, but no one bothered. Asked for extra blanket, but was given a begrudging answer. Asked for more coffee sachets, but was told that they can't give us too much! I didn't expect such one star level of service from a 4 star hotel!

Had to wait a couple of hours before we could check into the room at around 5pm. In cases like this, it will be fairer if the hotel could extend the check-out time. Overall, very pleased with the room and the standard of maintenance and cleanliness. Will certainly stay there again.

The room was let down by the toliuet being very noisy when flushed. It was so loud, it was difficult to hear the TV.
