This was our first visit to KL and we took the opportunity to stop-over on our way home to Western Australia from Italy and we both now wish we had made more time for a longer stay at the Melia It is the main reason why we plan to come back to KL and we would not stay anywhere else. We arrived before normal check in time from Italy and the staff had a room cleaned and made up for us especially. After a 12 hour flight we were so greatfull. And the room was immaculate. Thank you.

Rooms titbits or beverages should be checked and replenished properly b4 next guest arrives. I was questioned a number of times (on missing boxes of titbits in the room) whether I had consumed the snack in the room which clearly I had not. I was even being questioned by one of yr staff if I had called to inform them of missing titbits boxes (which my daughter had earlier discovered when we checked into the room). Is it my duty to check if all the amenities in the room has been replenished when I checked into the room?

Front office staff serving us on arrival was sullen. Didn't prompt us even when second room was already ready for occupation. We had to go down to front desk to re-affirm. On settling bill upon departure, no goodbye or thanks from serving staff. My family and I were totally ignored. Bell service was not proactive. My compliments nevertheless to housekeeping staff for promptness and accuracy. Would be nice to have slippers and safe deposit box. There should be two cakes of soap (for bathing and face) i/o one
