From any point outseide the hotel, there are many places to shop and eat at. So it was never a difficulty looking for food or places to buy things. I have stayed in many hotels in my life and I find that the breakfast served at Mega Hotel had a lot of variety and catered to everyone whether they ate a lot or very little for breakfast :) The room I got was really quiet, which I loved. I only wish there was better television reception but I'm not really complaining as I was there to visit family and not to sit in the room and watch TV. I stayed at this hotel before it got renovated and I must say it is a very good improvement compared to the last time I was there a few years ago. The staff were very courteous and quick to offer any assistance. I foudn tmy stay to be very good value for money and I would definitely stay there again if I'm ever in Miri again.

An excellent place to stay before travelling in and out of Sarawak (Mulu Heritage Park). My kids (young adults) enjoyed the roof top pool with splendid views across the town and to the sea.

A couple more complimentary satchets of coffee, tea etc, would have been appreciated for more than a one night stay.

Some floors poor wifi. Hotel kindly changed my room to help.
