This hotel is in a good location in the centre of town with lots of good dining options nearby. It is a bit rundown and tired but overall it is clean and comfortable and has a very nice, large swimming pool. The rooms are huge and comfortable with a nice bathroom. The decor in the rooms is uninspired and the carpet truly hideous but don't let that put you off! The staff were very helpful and friendly and overall we enjoyed our stay.

The Deluxe room that we stayed is big and comfortable and was equipped with all the basic things except the there were not much choices on TV programme. Our requests were attended shortly. The swimming pool is clean and my children like it very much especially my youngest two-year old daughter . However, we felt a bit uneasy and uncomfortable passing the hall to get to the swimming pool or back from the swimming pool to our room with our swimming suit on especially when there are some occasions going at the hall. Here, we would like to suggest if the hotel can provide another passageway to go to the swimming pool instead of passing the hall. The buffet breakfast on Dim Sum held on Sunday needs to be improved a lot. Hopefully, in our next visit the hotel has made the improvement. Tq.

The location is accessible to shopping malls and restaurant, its clean and safe to stay. Room rates are fair and the staff are very accomodating

I find the hotel in a wonderful location. From any point outseide the hotel, there are many places to shop and eat at. So it was never a difficulty looking for food or places to buy things.

I have stayed in many hotels in my life and I find that the breakfast served at Mega Hotel had a lot of variety and catered to everyone whether they ate a lot or very little for breakfast :)

The room I got was really quiet, which I loved. I only wish there was better television reception but I'm not really complaining as I was there to visit family and not to sit in the room and watch TV.

I stayed at this hotel before it got renovated and I must say it is a very good improvement compared to the last time I was there a few years ago.

The staff were very courteous and quick to offer any assistance. I foudn tmy stay to be very good value for money and I would definitely stay there again if I'm ever in Miri again.

This hotel offers a good central position with local shops and restaurants close to hand. An excellent place to stay before travelling in and out of Sarawak (Mulu Heritage Park). My kids (young adults) enjoyed the roof top pool with splendid views across the town and to the sea.

Lifts are very slow Asked for non-smoking floor but was given smoking floor

More lobby seating for guests waiting to be picked up. A couple more complimentary satchets of coffee, tea etc, would have been appreciated for more than a one night stay.

Front facing rooms exposed to loud mosque PA system. Some floors poor wifi. Hotel kindly changed my room to help.

At times, only one hotel lift was in operation; others remained switched off or barred from use because of VIP's visiting. No staircase access to banquet hall/meeting rooms (especially from 2nd & 3rd Floor to the 4th & 5th Floor)resulting in long lift waiting time for a short lift journey. Meeting rooms should have doors because noises emanating from meeting lobby area distracted meetings in the meeting rooms. Generous provision of bottled water which was a relief in this hot tropical city. Room TV requires proper tuning and lacks channels to cater for diversied international travellers
