I was extremely satisfied and pleased with the deluxe queen bedsitting room and think it was excellent value for money. Breakfasts (for which there was a charge) were very good and plenty of options to choose from - service was very good. I enjoyed two lunches in the Duke of Wellington Bar - service by Tony and his staff was very courteous. The pool area was very pleasant to escape to after all the hustle and bustle of the very busy streets! The only negative for me ws the noise at night as I was trying to get to sleeo=p - I expect it was the sound of the lift operating - a sort of booming/thumping sound. Hotel staff were responsive and courteous although there was hardly a soul around at 6AM when I had to leave for the airport and I had to wait till someone was found to go and check my minibar - even though I told them what I had taken. Of course I understand they have to check, but at the very last minute as one is leaving is not too good.
