The chalets themselves are all run down and all need to be renovated. Our toilet seat was split in 3 places so was difficult to sit on, the fridge hadn't been defrosted so we did it ourselves by putting it over the bath tub and running the hot shower over it. Worked a treat after that! We feel the Nirwana Beach Hotel receives all the monies and they don't put it back into the Mayang Sari. We would stay there again though. The food was the best food we have tasted since being in Singapore. The staff were excellent and the chef always came out to see if there was anything else he could do for our meals. Except for the state of the rooms/chalets, etc it a perfect place to holiday.

It is located on a beautiful beach with clean clear water. There are a lot of activities to engage in, the rooms are spaceous, the food good and most importantly the staff are very friendly and helpful.

Mayang Sari has chalets which are very spacious . It is very quiet if you wish to just relax by the beach with a book . There is no pool there .The pool is at the main, bigger resort (Nirwana ) which also has more restaurants.It is about a 10-15 minute walk through the grounds, or take the free shuttle bus which comes around frequently . Staff very friendly . Good selection of food for breakfast .

The beach is fantastic and the facilities adequate for a great romantic getaway. My wife and I had a great time while our kids were away. We may come back with the kids one day as it is also a great family place.
