And furthermore its our 44 th Singapore National Day. I have booked One month in advance to place and requested for the room facing Bay view, to watch Fireworks . Unfortunantely, while checking -in , I was informed that we got City view coz we hv to deposit extra SGD 100/- to get the room facing Bay view. I was a bit dissapointed. And to my shocked that our room has been prepaid in advance during confirmation. I thot that the room should be paid during checking Out at the Reception counter. Ive requested for late check out @ 2pm and Express check-out without queing up to pay bills. This is my second time making booking reservation with Holiday City. The room rates are affordable and will recommended my friends to use Holiday City website.

We had a very nice view of no less than the esplanade from our terrace. It was a magnificent sight and we enjoyed taking pictures from our 12th story room. We were so happy with the room given to us and we had a very pleasant stay in this hotel.

THE LOCATION IS EXCELLENT, WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE AND WELL CONNECTED TO MANY SHOPPING MALLS AND FOOD OUTLETS. HOTEL AMENITIES CAN BE IMPROVED. THERE WAS COFFEE MAKING FACILTY WHICH COULD BE FURTHER ENHANCED IF CREAMER IS AVAILABLE. TV CHANNELS PROVIDE A WIDE VARIETY OF CHOICES THOUGH THE CONDITION OF THE TV CAN BE IMPROVED. Food choices were good. Taste is exceptionally good for a buffet. We had both dinner and breakfast buffet. Not expensive at all for a hotel at this level.

The loaction is perfect as I was attending an event held at Suntec City Convention Hall. The only setback is that the view of the harbour is blocked by Mandarin Oriental.. if you are staying there, ask for the rooms with the city and the merlion view. It would be a very nice view especially during dusk and in the evening.

The room was very comfortable and well equipped. The staff were really courteous and epitomised Asian hospitality. Restaurants serve varied cuisine using fresh ingredients - very delicious! I wish I could have stayed longer than the 2 days I had as I would have loved to use some of the leisure facilities. Next time I am back in Singapore - it will be at the Marina Mandarin!

Great Hotel. Staff are great and always very helpful. As I travel throughout SE Asia on a regular basis, I can say without a doubt, that "value for money" you will not beat this hotel - great rooms, great staff and great location. Highly recommended.
