Location excellent!

Room was very small but comfortable.
Hotel location excellent, near tube station.

Recommend the travellers who appreciate a modest but clean and cosy atmosphere.

The fridge in room was also very convenient.

Definitely value for the money.

Marble Arch Inn ist ein Bed and Breakfast Hotel. Der Empfang ist sehr kühl und die Begrüssung lässt zu wünschen übrig. Das Zimmer ist sehr klein mit einem sehr kleinen WC mit Dusche. Im Bad hatte es Schimmel in den Ecken und wenn man geduscht hatte, stand das ganze Bad unter Wasser. Der Fussboden sieht den Staubsauger sehr selten. Es hatte Spinnweben in den Ecken. Das Frühstück erhält man lieblos mit ungekühlten Yoghurts in einem Breakfast Basket jeweils am Abend vorher. Der Kühlschrank der auch noch mit im Zimmer stand, entspricht seit längerem nicht mehr dem heutigen elektrischen Standard. Der Fön funktioniert nur 3 Minuten, dann stellt er ab. Nach einiger Zeit ist er wieder einsatzbereit. Den Tee- bzw. Kaffekocher haben wir gar nicht erst ausprobiert. Das einzig Positive ist die Lage des Hotels und dass wir bei der Abreise unsere Koffer nach dem Auschecken bis zum Abflug am Abend noch dort hinstellen konnten. Wir werden nie mehr dieses BB buchen.

Although this was London(ie.expensive)There are still basic things which cost nothing that could be done to improve the stay at this establishment.For instance it should be a basic principle to empathise with the'tired traveller'on arrival,and not demand ' form'filling and £750 immediately on arrival ! before even putting the bags down,coats off,or seeing the rooms.
The bed was a 'double' in a single room.Very difficult to get in and out of for one occupant.
There was a facility to make tea.'Good.'
The window would not close properly,The TV remote
(fixed to the wall)had no 'off'switch.The cold tap in the
'on suite' capsule,ran all the time! The people in the adjacent room,came and went,slamming doors and shouting,till 3/4.00am.The 'young cleaners' made a terrible loud noise from 7/8.00am.oblivious to anyone else.
The idea of collecting ones breakfast the night before and sitting on the bed eating it is a joke!Who wants cold croissants(no confiture)anyway. Never again !

Clean place to sleep, pleasant staff....a little pricey...but I guess London is. Other than that everything was fine

Low fare hotel in central position, meeting expectations OK

This is not a hotel. Its guesthouse og bed and breakfast. Its the worst place that I have ever stayed in. The only good thing about this place is the location. This hotel was awful. We thougt it was hotel but it turned out to be poor bed and breakfast. We had to eat our breakfast in our room sitting on our beds

Hotel entrance was being remodeled. No air-conditioner

The location was great and it was nice to have breakfast included but it's not a place I would recommend for more than a night or two. Although the room size was billed as a family suite for five people, that is stretching it immensely. The three beds take up most of the space, leaving absolutely no room for any luggage. The shower/toilet was so small as to be humorous. There was very little separation between the shower and toilet that taking a shower usually meant flooding the extremely small floor shared with the toilet. Ugh!!!

It said nowhere that you had to eat a lousy breakfast in your room. There was only bread one day, otherwise only cornflakes or youghurt!!!! The shower did not work in one of our rooms, and in the other there was a terrible smell from the shower curtain. There was nowhere to put the suitcases, and the fridge did not work in one room, even though we were supposed to use it for our breakfast

No breakfast room. It is not fun to eat in the room. small but clean. No aircondition (not good for summer)

I think that it was a proper hotel, more a bed and breakfast. The building was in poor condition and the staff not helpful at all. the room was too small even for moving properly

An extremely disappointing experience. We have never stayed in a lousier hotel and paid so much for it. Everything was lousy and too worn-down. Extremely small room without any kind of comfort. No table, no chair, no closet and two single beds put together as a double bed without any possibility of rearranging. And breakfast to be eaten in the bed due to lack of table/chairs!

Very narrow stairs and no lifts. Space was inadequate. The room was in the basement and there were no windows.

it is located very nicely in a pretty good area, it is very small but the staff is friendly. The room was very small, but very clean. It was a good price. They need to change what kind of cleaner they use though, because it smelled awful.
