Manukan Island Resort, operated by Sutera Sanctuary Lodges, is located on the island of Manukan in Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park. Access is from the jetty at Jesselton Point ferry terminal (formerly Sabah Port Authority) in downtown Kota Kinabalu.

The passenger ferry terminal is located a few minutes away from Hyatt Regency Kinabalu. By boat, Manukan Island is 10 minutes away from Sutera Harbour Resort and 20 minutes away from Kota Kinabalu City. The Manukan Island Resort is fronting the main beach at Pulau Manukan.
