Overview
Hotel Majestic San Francisco was constructed in 1902 as a private residence of Milton Schmidt. Two years later, in 1904, Senator Schmidt moved on and the building became the Hotel Majestic San Francisco. The hotel offers guests romantic refuge from the bustle of Union Square in the charming Victorian neighborhood of Pacific Heights.
The hotel offers 58 rooms, including 9 luxurious suites, are individually designed with a blend of English and French Empire antiques, custom furniture and softly hued fabrics. The focus point of every room is a large, hand-painted, canopy bed laden with soft tapestries, feather pillows, comforters and fine linens. A fireplace and a romantic view of the city warm some rooms. Suites are available with sitting areas and old-fashioned claw-footed tubs.
Cafe Majestic is proud to welcome guests to order variety meals and wines from all around the world. The Avalon Bar, located next to the lobby, is the perfect place to relax and enjoy a cocktail. For the business traveler, guests can use meeting room that can accommodate up to 12 peoples.
