Need to provide a cosy ambience in the halland the toilet shower heads are in bad condition. Air-con in the room makes noise.

Water pressure was slow when we stayed on the upper floor.

It would have been great if the service apartment provided some cutley and plates.

I was disappointed as the hotel could not even allowed me to extend my check-out time to 1pm. After much persuasion, the staff agreed to extend only for half and hour that was until 1230noon.As a regular customer, I was a bit upset as I always MAKE IT A POINT TO STAY THERE when I am in Malacca and its very rare that I ask for extension. The room are not well maintained and furnished.The toilet in fact are not well cleaned. Toiletries are limited. Wardrobe cupboard was dirty and run down. Its about time to change to a new cupboard.The air-con was also not functioning well.

It would be better if the whole service apartment is fully airconditioned as it is rather hot in Malacca.

pls get a dedicated sports channel for tv entertainment. overall it was properly maintain except some small details like i had problem with the shower head getting it affixed.

More amenities like bigger games arcade. Quite Old need renovation.

Though set up with a small kitchen, the hotel does not permit cooking in the rooms.

It doesn't feel like a resort or hotel, more like a chalet. Don't expect hotel amenities or outlook. In need of an uplift. The room is rather basic, definitely not the luxurious or up-market type of accommodation.

Some upgrading to the rooms is required. Most of the things look quite worn off. Doors spoilt. Bathtubs look dirty and rusty with stain.

Malaysia hotels tend to suffer from poor maintenance (at least those that I've tried). If Mahkota can be different from then norm, it can leverage and benefit its prime location even better, and importantly charge a premium for it. The whole place gives one a feeling that it had its grand days in the past - with better maintenance, its original grandeur and appeal will draw in more customers.

front desk and tourist info sections staff very helpful and polite. Light not working in Master bedrom toilet. Another master bedroom smells of cigarette smoke. Maintenance of facilities could be improved.

The water from the tap was brown. Furniture was old and damage edge of table was dangerous to small children.

I requested for a king-sized bed which was confirmed but it turned out to be 2 single-bed joined together. The request was made as I was bringing my kids with me.
