This hotel location is very convenient, the staff was polite and helpful, the breakfast spread was generous and taste good. The facilities were aplenty and we especially like the swimming/jacuzzi pool, as well as the fun golf. However, the building facade really need some repainting and the bathtub in the room needed to be replaced as it was rather old & stained.

Overall, we like this hotel & will return on our next trip to Malacca.

This is the 1st time I stay at your hotel, compare your breakfast menu to the one at Equatorial Hotel, the latter is better.

We enjoy our stay in Mahkota Hotel Malacca. The room is just right for three of us and comfortable too. We like the hotel ambience and do not have enough time to use most of the facilities.

The location is good that it is easy to get to anywhere in Malacca town.

I like the idea of the family apartments - makes it more homely for family and friends to stay together.

The location is well in the mid of the town, is very convinent to get to major shopping centre within walking distance. The staff were polite and promp in responding to our request. Food served for breakfast were rather good spread. Overall, it is a good hotel for family to get together and holiday.

Rooms are quite old. A renovation may help to spruce up the hotel.


Breakfast variety can be improve as quite standard compared to other hotels. A little difference perphaps in offering local Malaccan food is a distinct advantage.

Overall, we had a pleasant stay at your hotel. Service was excellent ! The staff were very friendly and helpful. Requests are prompted attended to. The transport facility (mini-van) was most ideal for family outing.

The room is spacious and we had a good view. It's a pity that the rooms were not well-maintained. The hotel can do more to improve the cleanliness and replace some of the old electrical applicances (fridge, kettle, some lights were not working,etc). The long baths need a good scrub. The water heater and taps need some maintenance.

I'm sure with all these fixed, the hotel stay would be perfect. Keep up the good work !!

The hotel did not meet my expectations.

Its has a pleasant first impression at the lobby and pool.

The room furnitures were not well maintained. In-complete toiletries, leaking sink, choked toilets. No water hose spray next to the toilet bowl. Stained bedsheets and pillow case.

I don't feel the rate is justifiable and I will not recommend the hotel.

The Hotel needs to improve its plumbing and bathrooms, which are noisy and old. The showers are a little small and cling to you, which isn't a nice feeling.

Also, I spent about 5 minutes looking for how to switch off the bedroom lamp. This isn't the kind of thing you would expect to find at a hotel at this price range.

1) Non smoking room had been requested. On check-in, was given a room which smelt of cigarette smoke. Room service was called and serviceman sprayed anti-deodorant to clear the air and smell.
Opened the little store room door and found cigarette butts still in the bin. This proved that the room was used by a smoker before being given to me.
As a non smoker, the smell of cigarette smoke is quite unbearable.
Other than this, it was a pleasant stay at the hotel.

The food is delicous and the location is very convenient for us to shopping.

Overall do meet my expectation. But, because of my visitation is during the fasting month, I do hope that the menu for sahur would much more. Also I would like to suggest that the management to increase the number of TV channels i.e. channel from ASTRO etc. This is one of the things that I like to do when I in my room.

Must improve service on taking orders/delivery from/to the poolside.

It was my 1st time stay in Mahkota hotel and I found out that one of the toilet door can't be locked, the spray pipes in the toilet was out of order, the water that came out from all the taps were dark yellowish colour and had an awful smell and lastly, the towels had smelly odour.

Horrible room to charge MYR200. I will not stay there nor recommend anyone to stay there. The aircon is noisy, bathtub is cracked, sink is leaking, bathroom is
dirty.
