The hotel is best located to all the tourist attraction as all are only walking distance.

I was upgraded from a 1 room apartment to a 2 rooms apartment on the secondth highest floor facing a breathe-taking panorama seaview. I was also issued with 4 breakfast vouchers and 2 welcome drinks by a pleasantly and friendly check-in counter staff. Unfortunately one of the room'air-conditioning was down but was promptly attended to when I called for maintenance service. As they were unable to repair it but they did the alternate by transferring us to the next available apartment of the same kind on the ninth floor of the same building to avoid any inconvenience to us. This is many a time I have been staying at this hotel and were always very happy with their attentative service. Thanks to all the staff for making our stay very comfortable

We had so much fun stayed in Melaka Hotel, our kids enjoyed most with the swimming pool.. Overall it's a great place to stay!

The hotels rooms are a bit rundown. The toilet pipe in my room was broken, thou still can be used. The window pane is also broken. I also do not see a need for a kitchenette with cooker/hotplate when we are not allowed to cook, so thats already a wasted facility. Just re-son a simple kitchenette with hot water facilities, fridge, sink without the cooker. Location is excellent, as its nearby shopping malls. I would suggest the hotel to request for a traffic light for us to cross over to Mahkota Parade for safety sake. Overall, its more suitable for families looking as its value for money, albeit the rundown rooms. otherwise, for those going for honeymoon and business, I would recommend staying at Equatorial Hotel and Holiday Inn Hotel around this area.

The hotel room was spacious. There is a need to upgrade the facilities in terms of flushing of toilet and comfortability of sofa set. The common corridor needs a facelift/upgrading. Rubbish were not properly collected and disposed off. It was left near lift landing. Food served was good. Keep it up! There was a lack of parking space in the premises. We went round a few times around the block for parking space. The door lock key system could be replaced with card system like most hotels.

The hotel location is very good as it is near to most of Malacca's historical sites and entertaintment centres.The staff at the hotel is courteous and helpful with most of my enquiries except that the maintenance was not present when i call the reception for help as my bath tub did not have a stopper to stop the water from flowing away.Frustation is there but the hotel ambience and most of the staffs helpfulness is a relieve.The food at Cafe Mahkota was good but they need to change the menu as my 2 breakfast there was the same daily and the counter supervisor was pleasently helpful.The swimming pool was a top attraction for my 2 kids as they love the design and ease of use.Overall i am very satisfied and happy to stay at Mahkota Hotel and will be looking forward to booking the hotel again in next year June holidays.:)

The staff were helpful and polite even when the hotel was experiencing high occupancy rate. Was nice to have complimentary breakfast included in hotel booking.

1) There is a stove, I'll assume that some form of light cooking is allowed but there are no pots & pans for cooking. Also, there is no dish detergent provided for washing of the cups. 2) The water supply was cut off for a few hrs. It created a lot of inconvenience. 3) No bedroom slippers are provided. 4)

The best cozy hotel situated in the heart of the city. Its very clean and staff are all accomodating. Superb location and looking forward for more stays at Mahkota Hotel.

My family members and myself love view look out from the balcony. Shortage of kitchen utensil, like can opener, pot and pan, spoons and forks. Water tap of the bath-tube is licking. Kitchen is not clean and could feel little oily. Staff around are helpful. Reception staff are friendly. As we were staying in your 3-bedroom unit, it is really good for family like us. Your room rate is at a higher rate as compare to us staying in a 2-bedroom unit at K.L. which has T.V. set in both bedroom and almost complete set of kitchen utensil including mircowave. Most of us feel, overall is average towards good because the unit we were staying with a beautiful view from the balcony. We shall book your hotel again if we are going Malacca again however hope to receive a better rate too. Thank you very much.

The hotel exterior is wonderful with two pools and the feeling is more like being in a service apartment. The Breakfast is good with a wide variety of Asian Malaysian cuisine. Interior needs alot of renovation. We changed rooms three times because of faulty shower heads and yellowish water coming out from taps. Dirty Bed sheets. Above all location is splendid with 3 min walk to Mahkota Parade and 10min walk to Palawan. Another 15minutes walk to Jonker Street.

The building of the hotel looks nice but the room's condition is totally old n not in good condition. The toilet flushing system was not in function, i have to flush it manually. The bath tub was dirty, and the room is warm because only the bedroom furnished with aircon. The hotel location is good but I will not recommend anyone to stay in this hotel unless there is no other option.

The apartments is so yesteryear. The furniture and other equipments are really old and I do smell something unpleasent with the curtains.. Other than that, everything is good.

Keseluruhannya keadaan di Hotel ini amat selesa.Hanya dua pekara saja yang saya rasa perlu diperbaiki : 1. Dibahagian pendaftaran masuk ! mereka ini perlu diberi latihan bagaimana nak melayan tetamu yang kebanyakannya datang dari jauh..(tidak di sambut dengan senyuman dan amat kurang sangat budi bahasa mereka) 2. Pihak Hotel perlulah mencari jalan untuk mendapatkan lampu isarat bagi memudahkan pengujung melintas jalan untuk ke Mahkota Prade.Keadaan sangatlah merbahaya dengan kereta yang banyak untuk melintas..

Thank you for a wonderful stay that our family experienced during our visit to Mahkota Hotel. One of the staff, Mr Sazali, was superb in his recommendation of local cuisine complete with driving directions which I found was easy to follow. I would like to make the following recommendations for improvement. 1. The edges of the kids' swimming pool should be changed into something of a softer material (eg rubberised) as I saw many sgharp edges which could be very dangerous in case of a fall. 2. Provision of a shuttle service from the hotel into the main shopping area (Mahkota Parade etc) as there are no pedestrian crossings available and no shelter in case of inclement weather.
