I travel to Sydney regularly for business and pleasure and also have the opportunity to recommend accommodation to business associates, family and friends and due to the Oaks treatment of us will be recommending the Oaks as a company not to deal with. Whilst happy with the room I will not be staying at this property again as I continually requested (in a pleasant manner) for a harbour view room and apparently were given on the day of arrival however were changed when we checked in to a "city" view room. Obviously the Managers did not appreciate that we had booked early and had not paid the ridiculously inflated prices that were being charged because of the football that weekend and decided that we did not rate any service. Our letter at check-in had us in room 252 but we were changed to room 351. No problems we will just not use any Oaks properties again.

The room was fantastic, clean and large.

We were four adults, the additional double bed was a bit too small for two persons.

no troleys or porter for luggage

We like the location but are unsure whether we will stay here again as our experience lthis time was not as good as our last visit. We felt that the room and the wing we were in was looking 'a bit tired' compared to our last stay. The bathroom particularly, needed work ie the shower smelt and needs some mould and scum cleaning off it.

The sofa bed is very uncomfortable (the interior sprung matress is very painfull).

The service was good with some staff and bad with others. When booking through holiday city we were told that checkout was at 12 however, when we checked in we were told that it is 10am. This was disappointing as we had booked our flight times around this arrangement. The room was very basic, however it did have everything that we needed. The airconditioner was very noisy though. We had booked a studio apartment however, when we arrived and went upstairs it was a one bedroom apartment, didn't matter all that much, however didn't get what we had paid for.

We have stayed in this appt building before and again we were very happy with the room especially after a long flight they allowied us into the room early

Very central and close to tourist areas. I had asked for a high apartment as I had stayed here before. We were on the top floor with great views. The apartment was on 2 floors and very spacious. Some marks on the walls but otherwise good.

We liked the central location within easy walking distance to rail and buses and to Darling Harbour. We also thought that the access security was very good. We found the room quite comfortable and well fitted out which adequately met all our needs. Forgot to mention - room door security lock is broken. No other problems.

The daily housekeeping was a little lapse, one day they did not turn up at all, and after a full day out arriving home to a messy, unmade room was not pleasant. The apartment was very spacious, particularly for a family of 2 adults and 3 children. Everything that was needed was there.

very nice place 8 out of ten We thought it was great but!!! we felt there was a bit of penny pinching...not enough powder for washing and dishwasher...after calling the desk and being told we would get it tommorrow I went and bought my own...there is not enough dishes to wait until tommorrow ...small things but necessary things. tea and coffee and sugar was very light on also again I bought my own..other than that a great palce ..will and have already recommend .

Not much in the hotel in terms of facilities. Pool and gyn were o.k. and clean. Nice room, with good size kitchen. Good quality appliances.

We thought the accommodation was absolutely fabulous. We would certainly not hesitate to stay there again.

Really a lovely hotel to stay. The room was perfect. Neither of us could fault anything at all. I only wish our stay could have been longer.

Small point: I asked Reception for particulars on if there was a squash court nearby. They did not come back to me until some time later. Too late

Very modern decor. Cleaning must be done more thoroughly. Otherwise, my stay was very pleasant!

We enjoyed our stay,and thank you for heeding our request for a quiet room. We reported before leaving that the oven didnt switch on. One of the rings on the cooker was also inoperative. We also reported that there was only one egg cup.

Position was handy to most tourist attractions

the maid came in very early in the morning (8AM) to clean to room if do not disturb sign is not hang outside. Some day the maid dont come in at all. I was upgraded to a one bed room apartment.

great service from front desk. Very noisy air con and traffic. blind did not work in lounge room.

It is conveniently located near all tourist attractions and public transports. I am extremely satisfied with all facilities provided, especially the laundry and cooking facilities

As we were staying on the 4th,floor it was a little noisy but

in busy area but well insulated and quiet.
