did not get the room type that i had booked which initially was disappointing. Had spesifically asked and was guaranteed a harbour view room. But. . . Was given a studio apartment which was ... spascious and practical for a family of 4. A much better alternative.

if you need a hotel room for your family which is to be used as your basecamp and doesn't have to be right beside the sights, this hotel is just right.

you need to be ... on the upper floors (above the 6th), if a view of the harbour is important to you. The apartments are conveniently situated, although they are on the edge of the ‘gay quarter’, but this is not obtrusive. All cuisine’s available close bye with a complete range of prices to suit your budget in addition to supermarkets for self catering and many bars. Good services available for public transport (rail, bus and taxi), the apartments are within walking distance (20min) of the main harbour area, although it is uphill when you return. We would certainly visit the apartments again and recommend them.
