The property is undergoing an eighteen million dollar renovation and will become the M Street Hotel Washington DC with a new great room lobby, new coffee cafe and lobby bar, new bistro-style American restaurant and completely refurbished guest rooms and suites.
The hotel was formerly known as the City Center Hotel or Wyndham City Center.
The M Street Hotel Washington DC is located in the Lafayette Square area of downtown Washington DC at the corner of M Street and New Hampshire Avenue. The M Street Hotel Washington DC is near to many major attractions and within walking distance of Georgetown and George Washington University. The Dupont Circle Metro station on the red line and the Foggy Bottom-GWU Metro station on the blue and orange lines are both four blocks away.
