By Train:
- From the Gare de Lyon train station: take underground line 1, direction La Defense, and get off at the Louvre-Rivoli station.
- From the Gare du Nord and Gare de l'Est train stations: take underground line 4, direction Porte d'Orleans, until Chatelet station. Switch to underground line 1, direction La Defense, and get off at the Louvre-Rivoli station.
- From the Gare St Lazare train station: take line 14, direction Bibliotheque Francois Mitterrand, until the Pyramides station. Take line 7, direction Mairie d'Ivry/Villejuif, and get off at the Palais Royal Musee du Louvre station.
- From Gare Montparnasse: take line 4, direction Porte de Clignancourt, change at Chatelet. Take underground line 1, direction La Defense, and get off at the Louvre-Rivoli station.
By Airplane:
From Paris Charles De Gaulle Airport:
- With the Roissy Buses it takes a 50-minute ride to reach the Opera underground station. From there, take underground line 7, direction Mairie d'Ivry, until Palais Royal Musee du Louvre.
From Orly Paris Airport:
- The Orly Bus reaches the Denfert-Rochereau underground station in about 30 minutes. From there, take RER B direction Mitry Claye, until the Chatelet station. Switch to line 1, direction La Defense, until the Louvre-Rivoli station.
