As soon as I entered my hotel room, I noticed some unpleasant "damp" smell in the room which triggered my headache.Otherwise, I m happy with the services and environment of the hotel.
The beautifully restored Lone Pine Hotel Penang is a wonderful retreat for those who seek privacy amongst an idyllic setting. Established since 1948, this delightful sanctuary was the first hotel on Batu Ferringhi beach, and today retains much of its old world charm, a wonderful hideaway to escape to from the hustle and bustle of the city.

Having gone through phases of expansion through the years, Lone Pine Hotel Penang today is a 3 storey building, boasting 50 exclusive guestrooms. Almost all rooms face the sea and open out to a terrace, balcony or private courtyard, bringing the refreshing sea breeze into every room.
