Poor organisation. Staying there each year for a congress, the standards were not as good as before the change of ownership. My room card sleeve stated a higher charge than had been arranged with yourselves, when queried they stated that they did not know you, although the room had been booked by you. I had to visit the computer room to take a copy of my e-mail from you proving the terms. This was subsequently lost and they still tried to charge me the wrong amount. It was finally resolved, with the comment that they would stand by the arrangement. There were no toiletries in the room and we requested that they attend to this as we left to go out on the Saturday night. We were assured that someone would go up directly, but when we returned it was not so. I had to call down to reception and they then sent up. The staff were polite but not efficient.

- Terribly noisy in the morning when the house keepers clean the rooms and the supervisors check the room cleanliness. This because the doors cannot be closed quietly, so there will be a startling "Bang" everytime a door is closed. Imagine that you 've to hear a series of 10-20 "bangs" while sleeping in the bed. It 's like " Construction Area ". And the hotel cannot solve this.
- I experienced a busy day at the hotel when a big group were going to check in. The supervisors were shouting, telephoning, using waky talky in front of the room while series of "Bang" continued for the whole day!

room rates competative but dining costs high. all room facilities good. mini bar prices high.
