People at front desk were very impersonal and not very helpful. Room was very noisy being so close to the Paddington tube. Even though I was moved to another room I was unable to sleep. That's why I relocated to another hotel.

The receptionist didn't seem to be very freindly. It was a twin room for 2 persons but there were only one set of towels!

It was a shame about the cot - quite dissapointing. I had pre-ordered a cot which was not available - the room we were originally given would not even fit a pram in it, we were allowed to swap to a triple room but my 6 month old son had to sleep in his pram. It was very noisy as it backs onto a postal depot - trucks entering all night/early morning

THE ROOM WAS EXTREMELY HOT AND WHEN WE OPENED THE WINDOW WE WERE FACING A QUAD, THIS WAS NOT A PROBLEM BUT THE SMELL FROM FOOD, OLD UNDERPANTS AND OTHER DEBRIS WAS DISGUSTING. WHEN WE THOUGHT IT COULDN'T GET ANY WORSE A NOISE STARTED LIKE SOMEONE BANGING A TIN CAN ON A WINDOW. THIS WENT ON ALL NIGHT AND WE CHOSE TO LEAVE AS EARLY AS WE POSSIBLY COULD.

Very old and run down hotel but I guess that is what can be expected in London for this price. Very expensive for what we got on Canadian standards. Sheets had holes in them and no mattress covers. Not that clean, especially in the corridors and public areas.

After having confirmation of a smoking room, no smoking room was available when check in. Staff resist to make any change to honour booking confirmed. Room is not equipped with air conditioning, and yet very close to main road. Hot with window closed and yet too noisy with window opened. Bed sheets have not been changed as promised on the third night. Finished soap has not been replaced.
