It was our first trip to London. So it was hard to answer the questions as we have nothing to compare it to in the city. It was recommended to us by a travel agent in Halifax, Nova Scotia as she had stayed there. We were happy with everything that we experienced with the staff. We did not eat there as we were downtown all day. The conceirge & front desk staff were helpful & courteous.

Food buffet very good

We stayed for 1 night, arriving late. The hotel is in a convenient location. The only let down was the breakfast in the morning. There was only 1 member of staff who kept disappearing so to actually pay was a problem and we had to wait a long time. Other than that the stay was satisfactory

Too Expensive for what we received.

I initially wondered if online special deals mean lowest possible standard of accomodation at this hotel (see my comments above). When you arrive jet-lagged and sleep-deprived, it is disappointing to find the room you booked well ahead is not what was promised online. I do make a check of all details before booking. I have stayed at this hotel twice before (after booking online)and been allocated a much higher standard of room on each occasion. It did turn out OK in the end but was not a good experience initially. I booked 3 months ahead. I arrived on a very hot day after flying for 26 hours. The room I was originally allocated was in the oldest part of the hotel, had no air conditioning and wallpaper falling off the wall. I requested a change of room as I was desperate for a sleep. I was then given a much better room and this proved satisfactory.

The location of the hotel is excellent,the service is also excellent,the staff is very helpful and check in and check out is very fast. The room was excellent,I have been a previuos guest at this hotel and have found that the room is very comfortable.

The room was clean however it did appear to be quite tired in appearance which did let it down as it was a good room.
