Les Jardins du Marais offers 265 guestrooms and suites in seven 18th and 19th century historic building, some of which were designed by Gustave Eiffel. The room was very clean and nicely furnished. The ventilation of the bathroom was poor, leading to insufficient removal of the moisture. Everything in the hotel room smelled like a moist cellar!

The hotel is hardly wheelchair accessible although designated as such. The room assigned for a handicapped person was not suitable since there was only a shower with a bathtub, not a separate shower cabin as requested
