Le Meridien She Shan Shanghai Hotel is in the Song Jiang district, approximately 46 kilometres southwest of Shanghai City. The hotel is built next to the National Tourist Resort and the largest man-made lake in Shanghai. The National Tourist Resort of She Shan comprises some 47 square kilometres and is the only area in Shanghai that offers scenic mountain views.

Le Meridien She Shan Shanghai Hotel's nearby attractions include the National Forest Park and She Shan Cathedral, one of the Far East's oldest remaining cathedrals built in 1871, as well as the She Shan Observatory.
