We were greeted by fiendly smiling faces who went out of their way to assist us. The hotel is ideally located for easy walking to any of the old city's attractions. Breakfast was selected from a variety of fare that went well beyond the usual "continental" style advertised - and it was included in the room rate. All in all, an excellent experience and we would definitely stay there again if we were ever lucky enough to revisit Quebec City.

The Clos St. Louis was beautiful, charming and well-situated in the upper part of the old city. It was extremely easy to find and was located in a lovely area, not as touristy as the lower city. Paul and his staff were delightful and managed to balance perfectly our needs for service and advice while allowing us our privacy and freedom as well.
We had wonderful meals in restaurants recommended by Paul every night- when we did not follow his advice we were sorry.
Two places of particular interest to recommend are the Izba spa and Le Saint Amour restaurant- very special if you are treating yourself.
The only thing missing was an iron in the room ,but I am sure if we had asked one would have been brought to us.
We would love to return and recommend it wholeheartedly to others.
