My family and myself had a one night stay at this hotel and we had a wonderful time there. My children enjoyed the pools and games so much! We had dinner at the Chinese Restaurant and were very satisfied with the quality of the food, not to mention each and every staff of the hotel, who were very friendly and helpful to all our inquiries and requests. When my son had a cut on his finger, one of the receptionist staff took the time to clean the open wound and neatly bandaged it! Keep up the good work guys!

During our stay we've found that there is NO free Wifi access in the hotel. To use the Wifi service one needs to purchase a pre-paid card. The breakfast at the hotel is quite expensive (the package we had did not include breakfast. Adult: RM33 and Child: RM18.90 excluding taxes) given the selection is quite similar with other 3 stars hotels we've stayed in Malaysia. If you can drive out to nearby shops you'll find you can more value for money breakfast.

Was a last minute booking over CNY, and surprisingly a wonderful and friendly experience. Though we didn't get to use any of the facilities (other than golf) nor had any meals (other than beers) at the resort, overall ambience was good!

myself and 3 of my girlfriends enjoy our stay in Mercure Johor, staff at the front desk was super helpful (Named Nordiana) she managed to try her best to get us a connection room. Food was not but not fantastic. Group singer there were great performance and friendly. Overall, this is great hotel to stay for a short break. :)

After a one week holiday in Club Med of Ria Bintan, we spent three nights in the Mercure resort, before spending the rest of the week visiting close relatives in Singapore. From their 330 rooms, about 20 were occupied. This palace was probably a 5 star more than ten years ago. Because of the too low occupancy, this large resort cannot be maintained properly. The staff is doing his best and is very helpful and very friendly. Nice and clean pool, with hardly any swimmers (we have not been in the olympic 50m one). We enjoyed the golf courses and the exceptionally low green fee of EUR 20, including bugy and lunch, during week days. Food in the two restaurants was average. Conclusion: we bet that the Accor group, after degrading the hotel from Sofitel to Mercure, will be forced to divest. This could be an excellent opportunity for an organisation such as Club Med.

My family and frens had a great time at the hotel. The staff was very helpful and courteous. My kids enjoy enjoyed themselves playing at the pool which was clean and vey spacious . The location was very ideal for a short getaway as the location is about 45 mins drive from the 2nd link. I will definately bring my family to the hotel again in the near future !

for access to airport this hotel is perfect

I think the hotel should ve some renovate for the room. It looked old yet make us feel tat is dirty but actually its not!

Many many facilities. We only stayed 1 night, but I wish I had stayed a lot longer. Excellent & very luxurious

The room I got was quite far from the lift/lobby. Looks like I got the second furthest room.

My only comments relate to Holiday City's booking procedures. I was given an email communication at the time of booking that told me that my AMEX credit card had been drawn on. Yet when I arrived at the hotel they told me I had to pay by credit card as Holiday City could not have drawn on it as you don't have the ability to do so because you needed the 4 digit security pin number. I have only just returned from overseas so please advise on this and let me know whether Holiday City did actually draw on my card. If so, it means that I have paid twice.

Bed sheet had stains. The chair was stained with broken fabrics. The room otherwise is clean

Upon booking, free transport to the airport was provided by the hotel, however, there was a charges of RM5.00 per person required lastly. Please informed us earlier if the hotel has amended any rules or services. The toilet got very awful smell. Please place some refreshing stuff to kill the smell.

In general, spacious and nice, but can be better maintained and regularly landscaped. Surprisingly comfortable and neat. Only the Balcony was a little dirty and had no proper deck charis for sitting outside.

Additonal power socket would be nice. This will be a good mean for one who own a notebook and other electronic devices such as mobile phone and etc

There was a cockroach in the bathroom and the room smelt extremely damp and musty.

food at japanese restaurant very good, but food at ishawara no good--nothing special. Have to wait very long before food came, so was very hungry. requested for clean towels the next day(many times)as they miss

I was given 2 glasses of watermelon juices that had already turned bad at the chinese resteraunt. The buffet dinner/lunch is abit too expensive. The pool is good. Staffs are very polite. The check in timing was delayed for quite awhile too. The center of the bed is sinking. I was suffering from backache in the morning. The aircondition is not cold enough. Short of 2 face towels.

there were cats eating from the buffet in the morning, which was apparently left there since the day before. the only good thing about this hotel is it's proximity to senai airport. minibar was left half empty by previous guest and not refilled. in addition there were still food remnants left. bedlinen was dirty with old stains in it. huge water stains on the ceiling.

there is a strong smell of moist/humidity I cannot stand.
