I was pleased with the hotel especially in context of the very reasonable price I was paying and the pleasantly comfortable rooms. However, I was unhappy over one aspect. I discovered several brothel-like establishements in the adjoining shopping complex. As a female who likes a bit of pampering, I noticed a few shops which offered unisex massage therapies. I thought these were "spas" but was turned away by the young ladies lounging around the premises and I soon realised what these places were. This was extremely unpleasant and did spoil my impression of the hotel. One of the shops was just outside the hotel lobby and you can see it from the lobby itself. We booked 2 rooms. The air-con system in one room didn't work properly and the room was freezing even though we switched the air-con off. The other room was fine. I was generally pleased with the rooms.

The Location was OK but not for meeting with people, the bed was small along with the room, they did not have anything to drink in the mini bar, nor did they have water other then the tap. The hotel is old and does not have anywhere to have meetings other then the pool, they do not have a good tea or coffee for us to offer to the people we are meeting, it took longer to check into the hotel then it did to get into the country, they only had two staff on at check in and the same when we checked out, I would not stay at this hotel in the future as they do not look after business people at all.

It would be good if the hotel can provide toothbrush and toothpaste for hotel patrons. The bed and pillow is very comfortable. I would most likely come back and bring my family in the next visit.

The flushing system of the toilet had been very annoying especially at night when it ran for the whole minute before it stopped. Ants running around throughout my stay.The colour of the furniture provided good camoulflage for the tiny creatures.

i also stayed at the Furama Hotel while in singapore. it was much more tourist friendly. the breakfast at the golden landmark was very poor. please check out the breakfast at furama hotel for the diference the room was a bit messy and dirty appearance
