We had a really great stop over here - it was so central - a truly Golden Landmark! the staff were so friendly towards our baby, and the tour arranged was perfect.

This hotel was value for money. We found it very close to all amenitites. 100 metres from the Bugis MRT, shopping centre and many food locations. It was not in the higher price range which when comparing all possibilities of location, facilities, size of room it was a very good value for money. Rooms were a good size and all amenities were met. Despite this I would definately stay at the Golden Landmark again.

I first time stayed with Golden Landmark Hotel. This hotel location is good, I will prefer this hotel for my next trip.

Veryo good location, near by the centre, computer shops and shopping mall.
It is also very close to the business centre.

We arrived late in the afternoon (approxiamately 6:00pm I think) however the room that was reserved for us was not ready, and yet checkout is at 12:00noon..

The first option given to us was a room with 2 single beds....when we said that that was not fair (because we reserved a double room) the reception attendant said sorry there was no room available with double bed....

We were both upset about this and demanded that we have what we requested..I even suggested an upgrade if the room type we asked for was not ready...finally they found one 1 minute later.....I am not sure whether the attendant made a mistake with room availability or he was not prepared to find an alternative straight away but we finally got an appropriate room...... Not a good start.....

Anyway the remainder of the stay was quite good.....

The activity/tour consultant in the lobby level was excellent....she was very helpfull with suggestive tours for our needs....

I could not understand breakfast charges...I had breakfast on 2 occasions in the restuarant...the first one I paid cash and cost S$12.00 but the second one I charged to the room and cost much more....to me that means you charge hotel guests much more than someone off the street...

Suggestion

- should indicate who does what at reception e.g check-in, check-out.
- not able to view TV clearly & very difficult to adjust the channels.
- location is excellent, Bugis street has a variety of shops where the cost of goods & food is reasonable, afordable.

The reception at night should be better manned
Waiting time is a bit too long

The hairdryer was not that great compared to all the other facilities in the hotel and the fact that the porter shook it a bit to get it working was not the best impression of the place. The hotel is getting a re-vamp though so maybe they'll provide better hairdryers.

STAY IS VERY COMFORTABLE. GOOD FOR BUSINESS AND TOUR. LOCATED NEAR SHOPPING MALLS, MRT, MAKES IT CONVENIENT TO MOVE AROUND.

SPA IS VERY GOOD. HOTEL STAFF TREATED WELL. MANAGER ON DUTY RESPONDED WELL FOR THE CALL FITNESS ROOM IS WELL MAINTAINED AND VERY GOOD EXPERIANCE ON MY STAY.

I RECOMMEND TO TOURIST AND BUSINESS PEOPLE TO MAKE USE OF THIS HOTEL

THE BATHROOM NEEDS TO BE CLEANED MORE EFFICIENTLY.THERE WAS MOLD UNDER THE SINK TAP.
I ALSO HAD TO CALL RECEPTION A FEW TIMES BEFORE GETTING MY LUGGAGE AFTER CHECK-IN .WHICH WAS RATHER TROUBLESOME AS I HAD TO BATHE MY BABY.

The free internet was nice and was very fast. The pool was excellent! I wish I had more time to enjoy it.

Room service is very bad, If want to order something or want to talk to operator, they never come on line, always they were not lifting the phone.

Breakfast was not inluded in the package,

We had breakfast in the restaurenet and made the payment immediaitely, but the amount was included in the hotel bill. I fought with the hotel staff to remove that amount, by shwoing the orginal bill.

Overall the attittue of the staff is very bad and rooms were not clean.
