Overview
Kuramathi Cottage, the second resort located in the middle of Kuramathi island is a health-oriented holiday destination. On arrival at the reception in Kuramathi Village, you are taken by minibus to a heavily vegetated and secluded resort, scented by the aroma of frangipani, hibiscus and other flora and fauna indigenous to the Maldives archipelago.
The Cottage Club has 50 water bungalows erected on stilts and standing in the middle of a crystal clear lagoon. The 31 beach bungalows are situated just a few steps from the beach, in full view of the azure lagoon. All the water bungalows and standard beach rooms of the Kuramathi Cottage are equipped with modern amenities.
Since Kuramathi is a big island it is divided into three hotels where you have the option of eating in different outlets through out the island. The food production team do their best to ensure that everything is perfect. Guests are welcome to eat at any restaurant or coffee shop. Through out the month Theme dinners are present at different locations of the island. Kuramathi offers a choice of five restaurants, including Indian, Thai, Grill and few coffee shops.
At the Kuramathi Spa, you can get a wide range of relaxation treatments in both European and Eastern tradition. Separated into open-air sections for women and men, the spa has a sauna, steam room, cold plunge pool, Jacuzzi and showers. You can play tennis or relieve stress at the gymnasium while taking a dip at the hotel swimming pool.
