as ... this was an apartment with self service capabilities, we were very pleased at the proximity of shops, takeaways and restaurants. They were all within walking distance which meant that we weren't reliant on transport.
it's a few streets back from the sea front, but again it was a pleasant walk to the sea front and taxi's were easily available for those of us to lazy to walk back!!
