It was reasonably priced and was convenient to the airport which was good. But it was difficult to get into Auckland City. OK but not excellent. Ground floor room had a problem with ants. Bathroom really needed a refurbishment, but was adequate for short stay.

We would not want to stay here again. But we slept for very little, but next time I'll pay more for a better bed and more atmosphere. The staff were friendly I must say. The food was lousy, I think they tried their best, but it wasn't up to standard. But again, I guess you can't expect too much with these low prices. The mattrass was way too old, needs to be replaced, really worn out. We had a room facing the carpark which, of course, came with a lot of noise of people arriving or leaving by car. Windows are very very thin.

The only complaint was on arrival at the hotel at nearly midnight - the driver of the shuttle carried every other passenger's luggage into the hotel but I found mine lying in the driveway once he had driven off.

Proximity to airport is a major attraction.

Staff very obliging and offered a smoking room when this day and age there are very few!!!!!!!!

Not at all like their website advertisment. Very shabby,and old. It was as clean as its age would allow. Would not use them again. This room is in serious need of updating. Shower very poor condition, decoration shabby.

We were situated at the end of the corridor and early in the morning( we arrived at 6.00 to the hotel) we were able to hear the staff in the service area room across the corrior. We did receive excellent advice on the Taxis. .

Was OK but not fantastic. Requested that we be picked up at the airport however informed on arrival that we actually need to telephone the request through (not via email). It would have been ehlpful to have specified this when booking.

Evening meal was excellent, but could not finish it off with a tea or coffee as it was not available. I feel the rooms need refurbishing and the corridor/passageway needs to be made soundproof.

Staff did not seem friendly or willing to help on arrival I thought that it was outdated and poorly painted, uncomfortable height of bench in bathroom. Impressive mirror.

Great shower!

The lack of a lift is very inconvenient when you have heavy luggage. The carpet in the room was really badly stained, and the bathroom tiles were cracked. For the price I paid, I expected a higher general standard of room.

staff were very friendly and helpful TV did not work, radio did not work, shower area tired and worn - chipped enamel in bath.

After expressing dis-satisfaction with overall Hotel, counter staff became hostile and demanding of monies even though we were never happy with anything.
