We enjoyed our stay at Kuching, the restaurant staff were extremely friendly and happy. The room was large with comfy beds.

Our second stay was just as nice as the first, thank you for a memorable stay.

First and foremost my compliment goes to Holiday City staff who does my booking efficiently and superfast kudos for that.
Kingwood Inn Hotel Kuching-though it was quiet a few blocks away from happening area like the waterfront area its acceptionally ok ok for tourist who are driving like us. BreakFast here too limited as in not much variety still i do believe it will be improved.
Front desk staffs / Guards are very very friendly and very very helpful.
Overall Kingwood Inn are very good place to stay in term of cleanliness and safety.

The staff are polite and helpful.
Hotel location is good if you have your own transport.
Parking around the hotel has no problem.

The deluxe room are large and good for families.
(Twin bed are queen and double are extra king size.)
The bath room need more maintenance - air leaking hair dryer,leaking shower- water dripping non-stop. (one of the room we stay)
Water pressure on the shower is too strong.

Was surprised by the size of the room and the beds! It's much bigger than some of 4-5 star hotels that we have visited in this region.Bathroom is also clean and the room is very well kept.

Hotel staff were helpful in answering our queries. Breakfast was also adequate and quite delicious!

A value for money stay!

Overall the hotel is as you would expect for the price, nothing flashy, but basic and clean with the usual friendly helpful staff Malaysia is known for no matter what price you pay. The food was reasonably priced for this type of establishment and the breakfast was the standard fare comparable to other hotels I have stayed at in Malaysia in this price bracket. It was a little way out of town but overall quite good value for money. My only disappointment was that the swimming pool was closed for renovations but that is the price you pay for travelling in the off season. I would recommend this hotel for people who are interested in a hotel to use as a base for sightseeing not as a hotel to stay for rest and relaxation.

Bathroom is a bit run down. Location of the hotel is excellent. Foods at the cafeteria is good.

the hotel offers and excellent value for money. The staff are really corteous and helpful.
rooms with windows looking towards the streets could be quite noisy due to the traffic.

Airconditioning in the room did not work however hotel provided us with a fan.

The lightings inside the room is dim and insufficient.

We were thare 3 years ago and everything was fine but this time around everything was really BAD! You can actually see mold or fungi and those 'creepy things' all over the place, on the windows and the a/c ventilator!! It's worse that a cheap run-down inn!!! We actually had to swith rooms 4(FOUR!) times within our 10 day stay. No assistance was given. The switch was due to couple of reasons, i.e. given a "smoking floor" when we booked for a room on "non-smoking floor", fridge was not working - more than US$50 of my food was spoilt - no apologies, no compensation whatsoever, bathroom was not working, smaller than the requested room was given, very unfriendly front desk..... I could go on forever!!

location was good for me since my activities were near civic center and ampitheater

The pool was small but reasonable although a clean would have assisted in the overall ambience. The hotel is some way from the town centre and require cabs to access The super deluxe room was large but the noise from external air con units was far too loud.
