Staff was helpful most of the time. Internet use is not included and pretty expensive (5$ for 30 minutes/10MB). I once had to call a 1300 number and I was not advised by reception staff that this would be charged to the room. Located close to Southern Cross Station and about 10-15 minutes walk from the sights. Looks more like a hostel than a hotel. Overall, good value for the money - if you don't need the internet...

It is quite impossible to sleep with the all the noise outside. In the economy room the toilets need upgrading.In the room not even a power point for charging of mobile phone. Extremely noisy. Can hear very loudly flushing of toilets in adjacent rooms and also from the common toilets.

The shower leaked the first night we were there but the maintenance people quickly fixed that without us telling them to. The room was old, but acceptable for the price we paid and it was very convenient to every where we needed to go.

Staff were very helpful and polite. If we had to pick on one thing, it would be the food in the restaurant, which was pretty basic and not the best. We had no complaints about the room.
