| Q6.Can you give the detailed directions from the
Airport to your hotel? |
| Driving:
From the Airport take the Tullamarine Freeway to Melbourne. At Bulla Road, this becomes the Western Link Tollway - a tollway pass may be purchased either before or after your trip by telephoning 13 26 29. Turn left on to the Dynon Road exit. After 500 metres, Dynon Road becomes Spencer Street. Follow Spencer Street for 1 kilometre, turning left onto Little Collins Street and then left one block up onto King Street - the Kingsgate is just around the corner. While the Kingsgate is unable to offer parking, we recommend the Crown Casino car park as being the most secure and cost effective (approx $7.00) in the city.
By Air: Melbourne's CBD and the Kingsgate are approximately 25 kilometres from Melbourne Airport. Travel times and cost will vary, depending on the day of the week and time of day. However, in general allow 20-25 minutes and $35-$40 for a taxi.
A cost effective alternative is the 'Skybus' coach transfer. Skybus leaves from outside the terminal at the airport on a regular basis and terminates at Spencer Street Station, just one block or three minutes walk from the Kingsgate. Costs are $12.00 one way and $21.00 return. Tickets may be purchased from the driver. |

| Q7.Can you give the detailed directions from the
train station to your hotel? |
| Spencer Street Railway station is Melbourne's rail hub, with both interstate and intrastate trains terminating here - as well as many coach lines. It also serves as a station on the underground city loop and most metropolitan lines. From Spencer Street walk up Bourke Street one block and turn right into King Street - the Kingsgate is 20 metres from the corner. |
|
| Q8.What is the closest subway station? (If
applicable) |
| Spencer Street Station. |
