This hotel did not met my expectetions.
We were a group with 12 double rooms, and all the rooms were very small, uncomfortables and very very dirty. For the price we payed we were expecting something much better.
The staff was incredibly absent.
I would not to recommende this hotel to anyone but young australian backpackers

A splendid surrouding, a beatiful natural garden, magnificent views.
A fantastic located hotel. We have good memories of our stay there.

slight problemwith bore water

We have just completed a 5 and 1/2 week trip to NZ and Au. One of the highlights of this trip was the rim hike of Kings Canyon. A huge downside of the trip was the exorbitant rates charged at both Kings Canyon and Yulara Resorts. I realize that these "resorts" are remote but we have been to far more remote areas which have charged less, provided better service, and certainly been more desirable accommodations. I feel you are taking you are taking advantage of your guests under the guise of "remoteness." Our bathroom floor was dirty, there was mildew on tiles. Water for showering was tepid.

The staff in the restaurant was not friendly (very rare in Autralia); it is an expensive hotel WE had an upgrade and so we had a very nice room
