Was not sure whether it is alright to use.

The staff in the dining room reception was barely adequate The room was pleasant enough, maybe a shade too remiscent of a byegone age

Neeeds maintenance and sprucing up. There are better hotels in the neighborhood for about the same price. When we came back to Perth a few days later we stayed at Miss MAud's, around the corner, A$173 for a lovely room with dinner and breakfast for two, a lovely buffet with raw oysters, mussels, shrimp, and a huge array of food, vegetables, salads, etc. The carpet was blacking places, looked like it hadn't been cleaned in months. Broken tiles in the bathroom, generally shabby room and halls.
