the ambient in the room and toilet feel so irri.. not comfortable to stay, so run down... room should look brighter, mgmt should consider upgrade the hotel room to keep more traveller as the location is not too bad.. that will help to increase more business. front desk staff is friendly but housekeeping is suck.. they tidy our room but never change towel and top up shampoo or sanitary bag.. location not so bad.. surrounded with Korean, Japanese, Thai, Vietnamese, Malay (halal) food. When you are tired of eating western food this asian food is ok. But if you want tasty food it no so tasty and yet we almost eat every night. Value for money. Cost between AUD7.50 to AUD11 plus. Meal for 2 pax eating friend rice and a drink cost between AUD25-AUD30. I like the crossiant express.. very tasty for morning breakfast.

convenience as Hey Street and Murray Street shopping malls are just around the corner. Bus stops nearby the hotel.

my stay at the Kings Hotel though fine with respect to the comfort of the room and the location to the area.

I was very displeased with the wireless service.
For a hotel like this and to ofer wireless it was almost non exsistant. I realise it was no charge. Though it should be upgraded to work the way it should.

We liked the hotel generally and stayed on three occasions during our trip to Australia. The staff were first rate, restaurant we enjoyed - food quality v good. the ambience was good too. The hotel generally was, we thought , a little 'tired'...needed redecoratione. We had three different rooms on the 3 occasions we stayed, 2 were definitely tired, one 901, needed work done. The third, 921, I think, was much better, and was i believe, an upgrade. We would stay again. Great location too.

very helpful and courteous front desk staff and helpful with storing my suitcases for later departure and arranging parking for rental car. also knowledgeable with current events.

hotel is in a good location, there is a restuarant available, good size room , however the first room we were shown to had a rumber of cockroches in it both dead and alive, we were given another room on a higher level, apparently an up grade, however the small bar fridge was so frozen up you couldn't shut the door. the sheets and towels were nice and clean but the overall condition of the decor, fixtures and fittings, carpet etc, needs a complete overhaul it's a shame such a large hotel in such a good position has been aloud to get so run down. we stayed for 2 nights and my parents stayed for 1, my advise is spend the money on doing the hotel up but still keep the prices down to a level which ordinary people can afford. happy travelling

The pool was supposedly closed for winter although at the time that I was in Perth, it was not winter yet. The flush in the washroom was not working properly.

Had a bad smell upon arrival!

The front desk staff is quite polite and helpful. Above the pantry area near the lights has not been cleaned (lots of cobwebs found).

The hotel was located at a very convienient place. the room size was excellent. It was also nice to have a refirdgerator in the room.

Thre was a very strong smell of smoke on level 7. I noticed this the second I stepped out of the lift, my room also smelt like smoke and a little musty.I asked about this and I was told "Someone must have been smoking in the room" There was no offer of having it looked into or being moved to a new room. It took at least two days with the windows open for the smell to subside.

Friendly staff, very helpful great for what we were after. Cot was quite wide so took a while to fit it into the room (it was left in the hall for us to figure out)
