Kingfisher Bay Resort Fraser Island is situated on the western side of Fraser Island. This hotel is located directly opposite Hervey Bay; close to Fraser Island's major attractions. Kingfisher Bay Resort Fraser Island has 4 return catamaran services to the resort each day from Urangan Boat Harbour in Hervey Bay. A vehicle barge runs 3 times a day from River Heads. Free coach transfers are available from Hervey Bay Airport and the Coach Terminal to the hotel's reception at Urangan Boat Harbour.

Direction
From Brisbane International Airport, turn right at the airport roundabout on to the Gateway Arterial motorway which joins the Bruce Highway. Travel north on the Bruce Highway to Maryborough then follow signs to Hervey Bay. Via Fast Cat from Tourist Terminal at Urangan Boat Harbour, follow Boat Harbour Drive east through Hervey Bay. Continue straight through at the Main Street roundabout intersection for a further 8 kilometers along Boat Harbour Drive. Turn left into the Esplanade in Urangan and proceed north to the car park on the right. The Kingfisher Bay Resort Fraser Island reception is located at the front of the Tourist Terminal at the marina.
