From Brisbane International Airport, turn right at the airport roundabout on to the Gateway Arterial motorway which joins the Bruce Highway. Travel north on the Bruce Highway to Maryborough then follow signs to Hervey Bay. Via Fast Cat from Tourist Terminal at Urangan Boat Harbour, follow Boat Harbour Drive east through Hervey Bay. Continue straight through at the Main Street roundabout intersection for a further 8 kilometers along Boat Harbour Drive. Turn left into the Esplanade in Urangan and proceed north to the car park on the right. The Mercure Kingfisher Bay Resort Fraser Island reception is located at the front of the Tourist Terminal at the marina.
