Kanuhura Hotel Maldives is located on one of the island of Lhaviyani Atoll, to the northeast of the Maldives in the Indian ocean. Travel is by seaplane taxi, around 35 minutes from the International Airport at the Maldives capital, Male'. The island measures approximately 1000 meters in length and 200 meters in width, with a North-South orientation.

Guests arriving at Male' International Airport are met by representatives and escorted to Kanuhura’s air-conditioned private Keema Lounge where refreshments are offered and check-in is done in comfort before embarking on a 40-minute seaplane journey to Kanuhura.

The seaplanes, privately run by Maldivian Air Taxi Services, operate daily between sunrise and sunset, scheduled to fit in with international arrivals and departures. A breathtaking flight over the hundreds of pearl-like islands of the Maldives is completed when guests touchdown in style on the shallow waters of the resort’s large private lagoon, to be greeted by staff waiting on the expansive 200 metre wooden jetty.
