Airport transfer and hot breakfast included in price. Convenience store with long opening hours directly next door.

Their knowledge of the area and local culture were invaluable. The food was the best I have had in Asia, and some of the cheapest. I don't think you could get a better location. The best tourist sites in Bandar Seri Begawan were all a short walk away. The morning markets are only a five minute walk away (at most), and the perfect way to appreciate the local ingredients. The aromas of tropical fruits and spices were intoxication and the I don't think I met one person who didn't greet me with a smile. The more formal destinations for tourists to visit to get an appreciation of the rich, long history of Brunei were also well within walking distance (eg Brunei Arts & Crafts Centre and the Royal Regalia). When there you can't miss a boat trip from nearby the markets to the mangroves and water village which has existed for 1000 years. I recomend going with a guide as you will be able to visit the village itself and have a better chance of seeing the amazing Proboscis monkeys. I saw several groups when I went. There are also crocodiles and beautiful birds such as king fishers and woodpeckers. The value for money is amazing. I can't wait to come back.

I ws in trnsit nd so only there for one dy. Would not choose to sty there long, but it worked out lmost free (when you took into ccount wht txi to nd from town would cost). Centrl loction so recommended for short sty. Stff helpfull.
