Good value for money in a convenient location for Bukit Bintang area. For a 5star property I think they could have more International TV Channels. The bathroom, although clean is in need of a major renovation.

After hearing comments from my friends that this hotel is good, i decided to check it out myself. I'm glad i chose this hotel, its really met my expectation.

The Club room is so spacious and clean. We were being served by a friendly and courteous staff form the Club Lounge Dept.
The food served is excellence.

The hotel location is perfect for those who love to shop near Bukit Bintang area cos its just few minutes walking distance.

I would recommend staying at this hotel cos its worth every penny spent.

I stayed in club room in 19th floor for 4 nights. The size of the room is large , made me feel comfortable. The location of this hotel is good, very convenient , both KLCC and bukit bintang are within walking distance.The hotel staff are always helpful and courteous. The only drawback is the swimming pool close too early , around at 7pm. i can not go swimming after 7pm.
Overall, i strongly recommand staying at this hotel if u expect a high standard accommodation when visiting KL.

We stayed in Istana twice on our trip to Malaysia and both times it was a pleasure. The location is beautifully located as it is walking distance from all the malls, is within the Bintang Walk area, the skytrain and all other amenities. The staff were very courteous and helpful at all levels. The Rooms and beds are very comfortable with all amenities available from complimentary kettle, tea and coffee (refilled every day) to ironing board and iron. The bath room area is also very good as it has a his and hers sinks, a bath tub, a separate toilet and a powerful shower. I found it to be a very warm and hospitable hotel and I would recommend it to all. We had a great experience and look forward to staying there again.

We were pleasantly surprised when my sisters and I were upgraded to better rooms with no extra charge as the rooms we booked were not available.
Besides excellent service and very accommodating staff, the hotel was located in the middle of town which was safe and very accessible to many shopping areas and food joints.I would definitely come back again.

My dissappoint upon check in was requesting for a king size bed but didn't get one when check in. This was stated a month ago during online booking. I did acknowledged the receptionist to change room if available but no further action taken. The breakfast is great and number of choices is just right. Food & Beverage staffs are warm and friendly. As for the bathroom, it need improvement such as the toilet bowl water spray is not in good condition. The condition should be check during housekeeping, not when guest are already checkin. It creates inconvenience when guest do have to go out early in the morning and back to room late in the evening. Soap and shampoo are not replenish everyday after housekeeping. Neretheless, the location is perfect, very centralised, knowing traffic jam in the area. Overall, I enjoyed my stay in this hotel.

It is a 3 star hotel,deffinatly not 5 star. Very poor facilities for a 5 star hotel, aircondition very bad,they changed the room, but same problem.

I was quite upset with the service that I received from the reception counter & the cashier (unfriendly & unprofessional). I believe no matter how nice the hotel look, the most important thing a guest would like will be the service they received. I have stayed in Ritz Carlton and J W Marriot and the service that I received from them were excellent. Not only did I received professional service from the frontdesk, I also received superb service from the doorman and room service persons as well. I believe a lasting impression will be from the 1st and last contact point/person. However, I was very pleased with the service that I received from the F&B manager and staffs from the CAFE. My suggestion will be to The room was amazing, however, one thing that I realized was, the mini bar in the room was empty. It'll be great to have something in there (of course chargeable)
