Imperial hotel - overnight stay

We came back to the Imperial for an overnight stay in KK, having stayed last year and found it to be very pleasant. The room standard we selected this time was one less than before, and was slightly smaller with view over the city rather than the bay, but we were OK with this as we were only staying one night. For a longer stay we would have upgraded as before. The staff are very courteous and helpful, the room and ensuite clean, the bed comfortable, the room light and airy. Intitally there were no towels, and though promised, they were not sent up by the evening. We went out shopping, and managed to get the towels on our return (apparently there had been a problem with the laundry). We were a bit disconcerted to find that one of the hotel lifts opens directly into the adjacent shopping centre, and wondered about potential security issues, as people can obviously access the hotel floors without going through the lobby. However, the shopping centre closes at 9pm, and is locked. The hotel is very central for the waterfront, shopping malls and eating out and the night market and bus station are just a short walk.
Convenient location with Imperial
THE STAFF AT RECEPTION AND LOUNGE CAFE ARE SINCERE AND HELPFUL. ALSO, THE BELL BOYS ARE PROACTIVE TO ASSIST FOR TRANSPORT AND DIRECTORY.IN ALL, THE ECONOMICAL PRICE AND CONVENIENT LOCATION REMAIN THE ATTRACTIVENESS OF MY NEXT VISIT. A GOOD PLACE TO RECOMMEND - DO SELECT THE SEAVIEW ROOM FOR THE LOVELY SCENE.
IS A GOOD CHOOSE
the location is good ,the price is good ,the bed is good, strong recommend stay at this hotel!!!!! GOOD!!!!
The hotel was in a central position with plenty of eating places close by. It was easy to visit the markets and had a wonderful view of the harbour. The breakfast was adequate but not inspiring. The staff were very helpful and we had a pleasant stay.
Clean hotel with Excellent location. Friendly and helpful staff.
We stayed at the Imperial for only 1 night before flying out to Brunei, but it was just lovely. The hotel is in the middle of KK and close to everything. We paid a little more for the Super Deluxe Room but it was worth it. Our room was on the 9th floor overlooking the Waterfront, king size bed with great quality sheets/pillows etc, tv, bar fridge and a great bathroom with a huge shower! The staff were very obliging and friendly. The hotel restaurant was not overly inviting, so we did not eat there at night, but the buffet breakfast was great with everything you could wish for! Overall a fantastic hotel, well priced (in comparison to Oz prices!).

Will be back.
Good and convenient location. Highly recommended.
Value for money , excellent services
The room is very clean and spacious. The bedsheets are of good quality looks new. The bed is really very comfortable. Just that the bathroom do not provide shower curtain. The floor will become wet when one showers. The hotel also provides unlimited internet access at no charge. This allows me and my husband to catch up with our emails and the browse. It does not have gym and spa. It will be good to have at least the gym. However it is just next to CentrePoint and Waterfront where one can do shopping and dining. The staff services are really more than excellent. This is the hotel that we have given the most tips.
Outstanding location and value for money
The best points of this hotel are its location and value. Location was outstanding, right at Warisan Square and Centrepoint, and across the road from the seaside promenade. You can walk around downtown KK from here and find your way back easily. The room size was much bigger than I expected for this price range. Tastefully furnished to a modern style, and with a very comfortable bed, LCD TV and 9 channels, safe and coffee making facilities, the in-room facilities were good. The downside is the breakfast, which has a poor selection and generally not of good quality. But this is a small matter in KK - you can get breakfast elsewhere around the hotel cheaply. The price charged was excellent value for money. Staff were helpful and polite. Will stay here again.
