hotel in a gr8 location room could have been cleaner

Overall comfortable, all staff courteous and location suited the purpose of visit.

This hotel was in a good location for our visit to the Capitol Theatre and a visit to some other city sights.

The staff were very polite and helpful.

We liked the fact that you had lockers for use.

We enjoyed having the special deal of bed & breakfast as this made our stay more reasonable and pleasurable.

The location is absolutely perfect especially for a stroll to Darling Harbour and a decent walk to Circular Quay.

We were impressed to have a tour bus able to collect us from the hotel rather than find our way to a meeting point.

The airport shuttle was also very handy.

On our second stay, our room was not completely made up and no one came back to finish it. We were lucky enough to find a staff member in the lobby who gladly did the finishing touches. The air con in this room did not work though.

We were located near the elevator on the 17th floor. All night the bell on the elevator rang (it is very loud like a doorbell) and it kept me awake for some time. Then on our last night, 2 drunks obviously were only capable of making it from the elevator to the hallway floor just outside our door. This was at 4 am. My husband finally had to open the door and ask them to move to their room. They finally did but not without the drunken comments. Just before 6 am someone arrived at the door next door and started pounding and yelling the occupant's name. There was alot of commotion until they finally left.
The lobby of the hotel is not very inviting at all, eg open air ducts hanging from some sort of box like affair. As well my husband and I had been out all morning and part of the afternoon and we decided to return for a rest prior to going out in the evening. We were surprised when the door opened and a hotel staff member burst into the room. She did not knock and I guess was as surprised as we were. She was checking to see if she had plugged the fridge in after vaccuuming.
On the positive note the hotel was located close to Paddy's Market, Victoria Harbour, the parks etc. The staff at the desk were pleasant and very helpful.

Perfect accommodation if you just want a clean room to sleep in. Great location, close to Chinatown, trains and the CBD

THE HOTEL IS SITUATED IN AN EXCELLENT LOCATION ALONG PITT ST WHERE ONE CAN EASILY ACCESS TO CHINA TOWN AND OTHER PLACES OF INTEREST. STAFF SERVICE IS COURTEOUS AND EFFICIENT. WILL RETURN IN FUTURE.

It was very nice time in IBIS HOTEL.

The hotel met my expectations and the staff were very helpful and courteous. Checking in and out was very easy. The location is excellent right in the heart of Sydney. The room was fine although the toilet had a leak around the base. However as it was a connecting room noise from the room next door was amplified although the guest in that room had no manners! Breakfast was nice although I did not see any prices or menus on display. Overall it was a pleasant place to stay.

More flexibility could allowed for earlier check-in instead of being too rigid. I spend only limited time in the room except to sleep so not more can be added here.
