Recommendation:   By Mr.Stephen McDowell  New Zealand The staff were very courteous and helpful. big help being able to leave bags at reception even though checked out, as sightseeing would have been impossible otherwise, and knowing it was safe for collection later in the day.
the restaurant ... was undergoing refurbishment while we were staying and was only open for breakfast.
excellent location, close to all city amenities and shops.
would be happy to stay again.

Recommendation:   By Mr.Richard Mann New Zealand We had a 4 night stay at the hotel. we had booked a double room and were given a twin. next night we moved to a double room and the king size bed was atrocious - with a major dip in one side.
our room was not serviced for two days of the ... stay, although towels were left in a plastic bag outside the door on the third day of our stay.
the hotel tried to invoice us for 4 day's parking which we had not used at all! (be warned - it costs $20 per day)
we tried to buy a newspaper from reception and paid with a $20 note. we were given about $1. 50 in change, and when we questioned it he said he didn't have any change. we bought a paper outside the hotel.
we think the general level of service could have been a whole lot better.
